Meet the Face Behind Kadco Electric Inc.

I’m Kevin Downing, proud owner of Kadco Electric Inc.

I look forward to sharing my story. I hope that you will enjoy getting to know me better.

I ventured into the electrical trade when I was eighteen years old, and by the time I was twenty-eight, I realized that some trade companies did not care about their employees or the quality of the end product. This made the whole industry look bad. I was determined to change that through the quality of my work and that determination led me to establish Kadco Electric Inc. ten years ago.

Over the past decade, the projects have grown in number and size, but one aspect that has remained unchanged is the quality of our workmanship. That is and always will be our number one priority.

Having close to twenty years of experience under my belt, I have come to believe that being honest with a customer is of paramount importance. Besides, trying to save them money, by not up-selling them something they don’t need or compromising on quality, is the ideal way to go about business.

I believe in quality and taking the time to make sure every detail is the best that it can be which makes for an end product that all my clients will be happy with. The truth is if a client isn’t happy, neither will I.

As an individual, I believe what makes me successful is my honest and transparent work. The clients get what they are promised and will not face any surprises at the end of a project. I am also there when I say I will be as time is money and their time is valuable.

While the most enjoyable part of my job is designing lighting and electrical layouts, seeing how clients react to my designs has been immensely rewarding. Watching how impressed clients are when the work that I have done comes together or when I rectify work that someone else has done poorly has also been incredibly satisfying.

Being a business owner, there is not much non-work time, but when I do get a chance, I like to get out and play all kinds of sports. Being a doer, I enjoy playing more than watching sports.

I have enjoyed sharing my story about the things which matter to me and how they influence the way I do business.
